Summary/Abstract: This work presents an evaluation of the herbarium from the Museum’s Botanical Collection, transmitted by botanists from Odesa. Based on the research of approx. 3600 pieces, herbaceous items have been selected and ordered according to the historical chronology of herbaceous plant species collecting. Ce collection from the 1891-1893 years includes more than 165 pieces of herbaceous plants belonging to the families Asteraceae, Betulaceae, Brassicaceae, Chenopodiaceae, Convolvulaceae, Corylaceae, Cuscutaceae, Euphorbiaceae, Fumariaceae , Orchidaceae, Poaceae, Ranunculaceae, Resedaceae. Cis herbarium represents an indisputable national value, which offer to the society testimonies for scientific, didactic, ecological, education purposes.
