Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the impact of physiological and pathological aging on auditory, cognitive and linguistic functions. The importance of screening tests of seniors’ cognitive and linguistic functions was emphasized and the elements of screening gerontologopedic diagnosis were discussed in order to preliminarily identify the risk of cognitive and linguistic disorders. The paper describes the results of a speech therapy screening examination of a 61‑year‑old patient using original experimental and clinical tests.
