Summary/Abstract: The text consists of four parts. The first one discusses the phenomenon of delayed speech development, as well as how parents experience the diagnosis of various diseases and disorders in their children. Then, the author presents the methodology of the phenomenological study. The third part discusses the results obtained as part of the study so that they can be compared with other works of this type at the end of the article.
