Summary/Abstract: The article describes an episode in the history of contemporary philosophy, namely understanding Marx's thought based on the phenomenology from Heidegger's circle. Although initally it seemed highly improbable, it resulted in two rather unknown Herbert Marcuse's works, the content of which is the subject of this article.
