This article explores what is at stake when elements of risks are removed from education. In light of pedagogical and psychological theories, it demonstrates how different kinds of risks are essential for growth at different stages of development. The article aims to show the value of risk in education by highlighting just how intrinsic this element is to all aspects of growth and development.
