Summary/Abstract: This article examines in detail the phenomenon of playful neologization in informal Internet discourse from the point of view of word-formation, together with the semantic and stylistic characteristics of such new words in the language. A scientific definition of this phenomenon is proposed, as well as a classification of techniques for creating neologisms within the framework of hybrid digital entertainment genres.
