Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to draw attention to the right of access to information, emphasizing the need for accessibility, adaptation of services and products offered by public institutions and strengthening the process of social integration of people with disabilities. To this end, we will investigate the level of accessibility of Romanian county libraries for people with disabilities, following three perspectives: accessibility of county libraries in terms of products, services, and spaces; accessibility of library sites; visibility of information of interest, specific to the needs of people with disabilities. The conclusions of the paper will provide a picture of the current state of accessibility at the level of the largest public libraries in our country, being a landmark for optimizing the activity of county libraries (and not only).
