Summary/Abstract: This article presents the results of a formative study on emotional intelligence following the implementation and validation of the psychological intervention program, developed by the authors, through the lens of the development of personality dimensions. For the formative experiment, 20 teenagers, aged 18-22, were selected from the finding experiment in which a low level of EI was revealed, The experimental group was divided into 2 groups: 10 teenagers in the formative experimental group and 10 teenagers - in the control group The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results obtained by the adolescents in the experimental group demonstrate a significant improvement in both the overall emotional intelligence scores an its individual components, thereby confirming the effectiveness of the training program.
