Summary/Abstract: In scientific literature, various crisis management models are described, which have many common points and in a number of cases possess a general understanding about the crisis as a process that passes through separate phases. At the same time, these models emphasize to a greater extent some of the stages of this process while neglecting others. Successful crises management requires sufficient and balanced attention of the management of each organization both on the stage of arising and unfolding of the crisis, as well as on prevention. The purpose of the article is, based on a comparison between crisis management models better known in the scientific literature, to propose an author's model based on the understanding of the life cycle of crisis phenomena and allowing its effective application in conditions of limited resources.
