Summary/Abstract: In this material, Dimitrie Cantemir’s work Curanus by Nicodim Locusteanu, is published for the first time, translated from Latin, in Romanian. Based on the copy brought from Russia, for the Romanian Academy by Grigore Tocilescu in 1878, Locusteanu published only two fragments, in the September 28 and October 1, 1938 issues of the Literary Universe magazine. Another 63 pages of the manuscript are currently preserved in the National Library of Romania. In this material, all the fragments were brought together into a single, critically edited form.
