Summary/Abstract: This essay, in multiple voices, traces figures of plurality and multiplicity across Derrida’s work and the leverage they provide against several metaphysical concepts. It pays special attention to titles that employ plurals, of which there are very many, and to the pluralization of proper names. There is particular focus on Fichus, Specters of Marx, The Animal That Therefore I Am, as well as a number of other major texts.
