Summary/Abstract: The publication discusses communication strategies used in Danish environmental initiatives, with a particular focus on the LIFE REDCOHA and REWETDUNE-LIFE projects. It presents the impact of environmental education and extensive communication on effective ecosystem protection and on raising ecological awareness within society. The analysis of theoretical foundations of climate diplomacy and environmental communication highlights their key role in shaping international actions for sustainable development. It also emphasizes the role of environmental education, which plays an essential function in pro-environmental activities, both within formal and informal education contexts. The article further explores the importance of various forms of communication, including media, as well as informational and educational campaigns, in disseminating knowledge about sustainable development.
