Summary/Abstract: In the current context of globalization, the concern of Romanians to keep alive the traditions and customs inherited from their ancestors is increasingly evident. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same about the efforts to preserve the current literary Romanian language unaltered. The invasion of English terms is overwhelming and often makes the message almost incomprehensible. All the more so is the struggle of the people of Banat to preserve the Romanian language through various means in this part of the country at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, should be admired. The publication of articles/books regarding the presentation of the specifics of the villages is also to be admired, this being an active concern of teachers in the rural environment. These specifics are rendered through explained regional or popular terms, examples of which are also provided, and even short stories/legends of the place.
