Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is focused on the influence of monetary policy on the economic growth of the Republic of Croatia, that is, on GDP growth. Using the linear regression method, a correlation analysis of the connection between independent variables (unemployment rate, inflation rate, level of the discount rate, level of the reserve requirement and the level of the interest rate on Lombard loans) and the dependent variable (GDP per capita) was conducted, and at the end, a multiple regression analysis was conducted of independent variables and the dependent variable, i.e. GDP per capita. Data on the mentioned variables were collected from secondary publications of the Croatian National Bank, and for this purpose appropriate statistical methods were used in the Microsoft Excel program. The general conclusion of the aforementioned analysis is that monetary policy in certain segments significantly affects the economic growth of the Republic of Croatia
