Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present, in the form of a floristic inventory, cases of phytonyms resulted by folk etymology, how the phytonymic terms are transparent from the perspective of the theory of the linguistic sign motivation and how they are related to the extralinguistic, how the individual creations manage to spread on a more or less restricted territory.
