PARTICULARITIES OF THE HISTORICAL WRITING OF ION BUDAI-DELEANU: ABOUT THE HISTORICAL OUTLOOK

Summary/Abstract: The historical and philological work of Ion Budai-Deleanu, as the whole historiography of the Enlightenment period in which it is framed, is a militant, engaged one. The purpose of the research is discovering truth. This truth is serving the Romanian political programme offering it the basis in a period for which the historical right is a factor that determines or influences the social-poltical status. History promoted by Ion Budai-Deleanu makes us think about historia militans type.
