Summary/Abstract: It is not only in Poland that the necessity of supplementing and disseminating knowledge about the still little‑known linguistic and communication phenomenon of cluttering is recognised. This is important both for people who clutter and the environment in which they live. The article discusses the main goals and assumptions of cluttering prevention. The proposed holistic‑socioecological model shows the scale of needs and challenges faced by speech therapists, people who clutter, and their environment. The article stresses that valuable initiatives in the area of cluttering prevention are already underway and that there is a need to continue and expand them in the future.
