Summary/Abstract: In Mexico, the legal framework for adoption has undergone various renovations and additions to the present day, including each state has legislated differently under the family law is local matter, so it is necessary to harmonize the legislation and promote different measures such as the expertise of professionals practicing physicians, socioeconomic and psychological studies for international adoption. In recent years, international adoption has been recognized as a protective measure for children deprived of a family environment; but above all, the ability to provide a home to children and adolescents who for various reasons, causes has grown with the lack of love and protection that can only be found in the family.
