Summary/Abstract: "In Estonia, the groundwork for the theoretical or scientific observation of science fiction has only been established lately with a few surveys in the past few years. Maybe the absence of analytical texts in the field can be explained by the scholars' lack of interest and their conviction that science fiction is somehow “lower” or morally bad art.
