Summary/Abstract: The circular economy, as opposed to the linear economic models of "take - make - throw away", focuses on the reuse of waste, its recycling and the re-creation of materials. Circular economy, simply defined, is a model that strives for sustainability, waste reduction and maximum use of resources through extending the life cycle of products. According to previous research at the world and regional level, we are familiar with the lack of knowledge about the concept and importance of the circular economy as an economic model and the lack of knowledge of end consumers. Therefore, we are motivated by the need to research how companies and consumers see the benefits of the circular economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The circular economy can have a significant impact on the development of sustainable business models and an impact on raising awareness among consumers and companies, which is why the promotion and encouragement of the circular economy in BiH through marketing is crucial. The structure of the work will be based on research on the real state of information about the circular economy in BiH and the presentation of ways to encourage and include the circular economy in business through marketing.
