Summary/Abstract: Europeanization is a process occurring in the public administrationstructures of EU Member States and those in the process of European integra-tion and involves the implementation of solutions and, as a result, the adapta-tion of national administrations to the European model of public administra-tion. There is a paucity of studies on this issue in the literature, especially fromthe perspective of the current challenges facing the public administration ofUkraine in connection with the ongoing public administration reform. Thefundamental research problem is the analysis of the potential of the Ukrain-ian government administration in the process of adapting the national publicadministration to the requirements resulting from the European integrationprocess. This reform is one of the priority reforms in countries applying forEU membership, and the progress of the integration process depends on aneffective public management system. The aim of the research was to analyzeUkraine’s ability to formulate and coordinate state policy as one of the dimen-sions of public administration modernization, but also to demonstrate howthe EU supports this process. Russia’s aggression against Ukraine significantlydisrupted the process of Europeanization of administration and verified policypriorities. Despite this, Ukraine has achieved a satisfactory level of preparationin the area of public administration reform. A success that proves the expan-siveness and mobility of Ukraine’s central administrative bodies is that thepolicy-making system is capable of performing critical functions that guar-antee coherent, competent, and efficiently organized policy conduct, even ina situation of full-scale war.
