Summary/Abstract: Undoubtedly, constitutional supremacy can lead to spacious social peace in a constitutional democracy. The fact that the other laws in the normative hierarchy are valid and conform to the fundamental act leads to juridical security for the subjects of law. Sometimes, to guarantee the supremacy of the constitution, a constitutionality review is established through a constitutional litigation court, at other times, this review is left to ordinary courts, thus guaranteeing constitutional supremacy in both ways. Contrary to the purpose of guaranteeing constitutional supremacy, constitutional courts can disconnect themselves from what they protect – the constitution, and through undesirable case law reversals, the content of constitutional norms can be disregarded. In this context, it is necessary that some reasonable limits be brought into discussion.
