Directions and consequences of the transformation of local economy of municipal waste in the light of changes in the laws

Summary/Abstract: Poland faced the problem of adapting to the requirements of the Community in the field of waste management. This process has forced a change in the binding law, which significantly influenced the scope of the operation of the entities performing tasks in the field of waste management, in particular municipal waste collection and operation of installations for processing and storage of waste. The study identifies the selected problems related to the implementation of amendments to existing legislation in the local economy and management of waste. The author presented an analysis of the impact of legal changes on the rules of the municipal waste management.
