The review of existing and anticipated solutions for the financial sector restructuring funds in the European Union

Summary/Abstract: The objective of the paper is to review the existing practices with regard to restructuring funds in the European Union Member States, in the perspective of the concept aimed at their functioning principles harmonization suggested by the European Union. The research method applied in order to carry out the research objective focused on the description of economic phenomena, with particular emphasis on discussing domestic solutions related to the restructuring funds. Prior to these comparisons the theoretical analysis of the role of restructuring funds within the framework of an institutional financial safety net was presented.
