Summary/Abstract: In its expansive development, artificial intelligence finds application in the modernization of e-government work in many countries. E-governments strive to respond to the ever-increasing demands placed on them by citizens and other actors involved in the interaction with governments, to carry out an appropriate transformation of their services. The main driver of the aforementioned transformation is the integration of artificial intelligence into government services. Artificial intelligence represents the most important technology for automating the processes of the public sector and state agencies, so governments strive to provide better services to their citizens through it. The potential of this innovative technology can be used to improve citizen engagement and interaction with digital government services. This paper deals with the application of artificial intelligence in e-government with the aim of clarifying how this innovative technology improves public services.
