Summary/Abstract: In the financial-banking sector, ethics is crucial for maintaining public trust and ensuring the stability of financial markets. This paper explores the critical role of fundamental ethical principles - integrity, honesty, and transparency - in financial decision-making, highlighting the necessity of applying these principles for fair and proper functioning of the financial sector. It also examines the negative impact of individualistic and extremist tendencies, which can undermine organizational integrity and destabilize financial markets. Furthermore, the paper discusses the intersection of financial ethics and human rights, emphasizing the responsibility of financial institutions to uphold human rights standards, such as equality and non-discrimination, in their operations. In this context, education in fundamental values and the implementation of strict compliance and ethical policies are vital. The study includes an analysis of effective strategies for promoting ethics and integrity, such as continuous education, the development of codes of conduct, and the role of leaders in creating an ethical organizational culture. By examining relevant literature and case studies, the importance of a proactive approach in promoting ethical and responsible behavior in the financial sector is emphasized, contributing to the long-term stability and sustainability of financial markets.
