Summary/Abstract: Social changes at all levels, especially the technological one, determined a series of particularities of the young generation in their psycho-emotional structure, in the way they relate to others and the environment, changing the hierarchy in their value systems. Significant differences appear in relation to previous generations both in terms of interests, expectations, reactions, attitudes of young people, as well as their way of communication and socialization. The influences of the digital space have a major impact on educational, social and cultural formation. An individualistic culture in which they evolve is highlighted, with major consequences on the quality of interpersonal relationships affecting the assimilation of healthy life values. Analyzing the pathology of individualism reflects a focus on the individual at the expense of the community. It becomes a priority to form an axiological consciousness among young people to support both their personal and professional development, as well as social involvement within the community they belong to and the harmonization of human relations.
