Summary/Abstract: The benefits of the social sphere constituting the target of social politicy could be even greater if, by the introduction and wide-scale application of new technologies, entirely new approaches to the problems of social policy and new ways of intervention became possible, by means of which desirable outcomes of social integration might actually become feasible. The author of the paper takes a standpoint for the timeliness and the necessity of such a new approach in social policy.
