Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a burial mound of a Thracian aristocrat with a rich inventory from the necropolis near the town of Shipka, Kazanlak district. The fea-tures of the inventory allow the complex to be attributed to the early Hellenistic period. Although without monumental burial structures, the character of the grave inventory indicates that the buried person in Leshnikova Mound had a high social status, probably as a horseman. Considering that the chronological frames of burial gifts are quite broad and some of the items are imports, we can assume a different path of acquisition.
