Names of Gardens, Parks and Allotments in Poznan – Evolution of a Class

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the presence on the proprial level of a class (and of possible class types) on the basis of names of parks, gardens and allotments in Poznań (diachronic approach). It presents class exponents of this class of names extracted in the course of traditional onymic analysis and by means of textological analysis put forward by the author in her previous publications. The presented research results are a starting point for further analyses in result of which it will be possible to propose a comprehensive characteristic of basic terminological classes which will then enable to juxtapose proper names with other types of proprial and appellative texts.
