Summary/Abstract: Between two forms of uncertainty as non-coincidence with oneself, Cartesian imprecision and Merleau-Ponty’s blur, there is the Goethean trouble, the empirical-transcendental condition of all vision which, both sensitive and metaphysical, frees the gaze from the tactile imperatives of clearness and opens it to the musical aspect of the fuzziness.
