Summary/Abstract: The 24th of January 1959 - Cluj. The Students' Manifestations and Their Consequences. Starting from the testimony of several participants in the celebration of the centenary of the Unification of the Romanian Principalities in 1859 (January 24, 1959), the present paper narrates the most significant events of that day in Cluj and their consequences on the people involved (the Securiatate's inquiries, sentences to prison).
