Court Custodians for Minors in the Local Setting: Cooperation with Selected Local Government Authorities and NGOs

Summary/Abstract: Based on the analysis on the records of numerous cases evidenced in court files and on own observations, the author attempts at showing the reality of cooperation between the court welfare custodian who ensures the custody over minors entrusted to them by court decision and various institutions such as schools, psychological and pedagogical clinics, the police or the addiction treatment center, i.e. institutions supposed to cooperate with the custodian and support their actions undertaken for the benefit of juveniles and minors and their families. The conclusions to be drawn from the study may have useful practical outcomes.
