Summary/Abstract: In the aftermath of the posthumous publication of Flame, a collection of critical works and essays by Nikola Milosevic, the author analyses in-depth his methods as his rich philosophical and literary theoretical works left a mark in the Serbian spiritual culture in the second half of the twentieth century and the first decade of this century. The author attempts to prove that Milosevic in his own method characterised by the continuous search for discrepancies within a philosophical system or within a literary or artistic structure which allow him to disclose ideological or psychological background of a certain epistemological incoherence of certain work, framed the contours of one specific and negative gnosology. In this essay the author attempts to demystify the formula of Milosevic's polemic discourse and at the same time determine the diffusion of values of that established reception of cultural constructions.
