Summary/Abstract: The new book of prof. M. Chinova devoted of investigation procedure is al- ready published. It is considered important issues of criminal procedure. Discussed the importance of the proceedings, which has a central place. There are examined broader is- sues of investigation procedure, and different stages - investigation and actions by the prosecutor after the completion of the investigation. Highlighted the role of the prosecutor as a director and controlling body of the investigation procedure. Attention is paid to the issues of proof in criminal cases, as they are interrelated with the work of the investigation procedure body.
