Summary/Abstract: Philosophical aspects of the basic physical education concepts are discussed in this publication emphasizing the interdisciplinary significance of thematically not reduced philosophy science. Conceptualization of objectives and methods of physical education necessarily implies some kind of body concept. The authors share the attitude that sports and physical activity fully reveals itself as a human form of self-actualization. Change of physical education concepts in relation to philosophical approach to body changes is presented in this publication. Also the holistic approach to the person and formation of his educational stages are highlighted.
