Summary/Abstract: Straipsnis skirtas giesmių repertuarui ir jo parinkimui liturgijoje aptarti. Analizuojama giesmės teksto ir muzikos svarba Vatikano II Susirinkimo liturginės reformos kontekste, aptariami muzikos stiliai ir jų tinkamumas liturgi- joje per šv. Mišias. This article discusses an issue concerning the repertoire of hymns and the choice of them for the liturgy. It analyses the importance of music and lyrics of the hymn from the perspective of the Second Vatican Council’s Liturgical reform and covers the styles of music and their suitability for the Liturgy of the holy Mass.
