The role and structure of linguo-culturological commentary (on the example of Russian Kolobok)

Summary/Abstract: The article presents linguo-culturological commentary based on Vorobyev's semiotic description model of linguo-culturological objects. The commentary explains what the Kolobok linguo-cultureme is. The appropriate choice of texts for each fragment of the commentary allowed us to discover a multi-plane semantics of the linguo-cultureme and its function in the modern Russian culture and language. Linguo-culturological commentary seems to be the best tool to explain phenomena of one culture to representatives of other cultures.
