Language image of the world in associations of Poles and Russians

Summary/Abstract: The study deals with the analysis of researchers devoted to verbal associations, of cognitive and psycholinguistic researchers. At present such researchers are very popular in linguistics. Great attention is paid to such notions and problems as language image of the world, verbal associations as the source of cognitive information, the history of the studies of associations. Comparative cross-cultural studies of contemporary language experts based on associative and cognitive experiments will be described. The last paragraph of the study is devoted to the results of comparison of the associations on stimulus “motherland” of young Russians and Poles.
