Summary/Abstract: Quantum computing represents a revolutionary approach based on the principles of quantum mechanics, offering the potential to solve complex problems significantly faster than traditional computing by using qubits instead of classical, binary bits. This advancement opens up new possibilities in areas such as cryptography, algorithm optimization, and quantum system simulation. The implications of quantum computing on information and communication systems are significant. The advantages of quantum computing technologies include the ability to solve complex problems more quickly, enhanced communication security through quantum cryptography, and algorithm optimization for data analysis and artificial intelligence. The development of quantum computing also brings new challenges. Integrating quantum computing technologies into existing information and communication systems requires new approaches in hardware architecture, programming, and data management. It is also necessary to consider the implications for data security and user privacy, given the potential threats that quantum computing may pose to traditional cryptographic systems. By analyzing the development of quantum computing and its implications on information and communication systems, this paper provides insight into the future of computing technologies and potential changes in how data is processed and stored.
