Summary/Abstract: The Quran, as is well known, represents the primary and fundamental foundation of Shariah from which stem comprehensive messages and teachings, legal rules, and all aspects of life in Islam. Additionally, it is the foundation of all other Islamic sciences. The commentary on the noble Quranic messages is one of the most important Islamic fields. This field has always attracted the attention of many Islamic scholars both in the past and today. The messages of the Quran were, and remain, a fundamental source for Islamic thinkers. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to discuss the commentary of the Quran in the Albanian language by the distinguished Kosovar scholar, Sherif Ahmeti, as the first commentator of the complete Quran in Albanian, the methodology he used in his Quranic commentary, the interpretation of the Quran in the spirit of the times, the use of Hadiths in Quranic commentary, and particularly in relation to “Quranic sciences.”
