Summary/Abstract: In the modern age, advertising plays a key role in shaping consumer attitudes and behavior. As a form of communication, advertising discourse uses various linguistic strategies to influence consumers’ perceptions and decisions. This paper explores the specific language techniques used in advertisements, with particular emphasis on manipulation and persuasive elements. Analyzing language strategies allows us to understand how to create attractive messages that not only inform, but also persuade. By studying examples from different advertising campaigns, we will explore how language is used to create emotional connections between consumers and brands, and how cultural context shapes advertising messages. In this way, the paper will contribute to the understanding of the ways in which linguistic strategies shape contemporary advertising discourse and influence consumer culture as a whole.
