Summary/Abstract: Women abused by their life partners are a part of the vulnerable groups in terms of inefficient legislation especially on the prevention and combating domestic violence. This paper aims to discuss with a provider of social services to reflect the problems he is facing. We also wish to review the entire system non-governmental Romanian to prevention and control domestic violence. Services offered by the Diaconia Association are complex and cover a wide range of beneficiaries, including domestic violence victims. Social Settlement Patriarch Justinian Marina contribute to the fight against domestic violence through various activities undertaken by a multidisciplinary team which includes several specialists with extensive experience in this field. The problem of domestic violence should be treated with professionalism and seriousness, for which specialists from Diaconia Association collaborates with numerous state agencies and NGOs accredited to chase the best interest of the beneficiary. One of the main limitations of NGOs, account’s a limited number of victims who recive the requested help. This happens because of insufficient funds, and no less with this problem struggle’s the state system too.
