Secular Individualism - Fundamental Coordinate of Post-Modernism. Missionary Evaluation

Summary/Abstract: Individualism, in its current form, is the exclusive product of modernity, being also a consequence of the process of secularization of society. It is rooted in post-modernity and has become an essential coordinate of it. The individualist perspective represents a depersonalization of man, the human person is denied the character of a being-existential reality; we are also talking about a post-modern degeneration of the person, reduced to a mere social construct, totally circumscribed to the subjectivist realm of reality. Last but not least, secular individualism remains a representative element of post-modern deconstructivism.
