Summary/Abstract: Education in Eastern Europe is influenced by profound socio-cultural changes and education systems have to respond to complex challenges. These challenges include integrating individual rights and religious pluralism within an educational framework that promotes social cohesion and reduces everyday extremism. This paper aims to explore how education can support these goals by focusing on the balance between individualistic and collective values. The main objective of the research is to answer the question: How can educational values and religious pluralism be integrated in such a way as to ensure social harmony in Eastern Europe? The study analyzes educational policies and literature to better understand how education can combat extremism and encourage intercultural dialogue.
