Contributions to the knowledge of Moldavian forests. Bârlad forest Region III in 1907

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a few aspects on the administration of Bârlad Forest Region III, which included nine forest-ranges (Floreşti-Tutova, Tuluceşti-Covurlui, Ghermăneşti-Fălciu, Fâstâci-Vaslui, Creţeşti-Fălciu, Furceni-Tecuci, Odaia Bursucani-Tutova, Răchitoasa-Tecuci and Fătăciuni-Tecuci), from five counties (Tutova, Tecuci, Covurlui, Fălciu and Vaslui). Data on its patrimony (fixed assets), employees and on one of the first forest management works, the so-called “general studies” is also provided.
