Summary/Abstract: On June 25, 2024, the Divadelní sál in Hořice hosted a gathering to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Hana Truncová's birth. Known for her indomitable spirit, Truncová was a political prisoner who faced the brutalities of both Nazi and communist regimes. Her resilience and integrity inspired many, as she actively participated in the anti-communist resistance, aiding in border crossings and distributing illegal literature. The event, organized by Michal Kuchta, featured heartfelt tributes from friends and colleagues, highlighting Truncová's passion for driving, her adeptness with technology, and her love for beauty and harmony. Her legacy includes significant contributions to the Konfederace politických vězňů and recognition as a participant in the anti-communist resistance. Truncová's life remains a testament to courage and the unwavering pursuit of justice.
