Summary/Abstract: This research focuses on the question of installing video surveillance systems in Romanian pre-university educational institutions, which aims to ensure the safety and protection of people, property and values. This measure seems to be mostly accepted by parents’ federations, but largely rejected by professional union federations due to the lack of written consent from teachers and parents. However, it also raises questions of compliance with the Constitution, both from an extrinsic and intrinsic point of view, which are analyzed by the author.
