Summary/Abstract: Maintenance is one of the most important issues of international family law in practice. The fact that the maintenance creditor and debtor are located in different countries, that they are subject to different legal systems, and that maintenance claims are collected in different countries complicates the issue of maintenance in the Republic of Turkey.
