Summary/Abstract: This paper analyses the treatment of interjections in current German‑Czech dictionaries and evaluates the current state of German‑Czech lexicography concerning these and other uninflected word classes. The focus is on both the macrostructure with the selection of lemmas and microstructure of the respective analysed entries, to provide an overview of possible challenges in the lexicographical treatment of interjections. Issues identified include inconsistent part‑of‑speech specifications, inappropriate selection of Czech translation equivalents, a lack of examples illustrating the functions of interjections, and insufficient metalinguistic comments. An example of a dictionary entry of the interjection ach shows which steps and decisions must be made in the lexicographical process. These insights are essential for advancing lexicographical work, particularly within the framework of the ongoing project of the Large Academic Dictionary German‑Czech.
